One year ago yesterday was quite the exhilarating day for the Dallas Stars. That’s because one year ago yesterday the Stars eliminated the Minnesota Wild in the Western Conference quarterfinals in six games.
If you can remember back that far, it was quite the eventful game. The Stars jumped out to a 4-0 lead on the road through two periods and looked all but ready to claim the series. Minnesota fans looked stunned and dumbfounded and were already packing up and leaving the arena.
But the Wild had different plans. They put three goals on the board in the first nine minutes of the third period.
