GM Jim Nill and the Dallas Stars have announced the signing of 34-year-old netminder Mike McKenna to a one-year, two-way contract.
McKenna, most recently of the Syracuse Crunch, also played with the Springfield Thunderbirds during the 2016-17 season. He posted a 14-15-10 record with a .905 save percentage and a 2.84 goals against average in 40 games played.
During the 2017 Calder Cup playoffs, he helped Syracuse reach the Final against Grand Rapids, posting a 13-9 record with a .911 SV% and a 2.68 GAA in 22 games.
