The Dallas Stars aren’t in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but the Texas Stars are in the Calder Cup Playoffs. That’s good news for the Stars organization as a whole.
The Texas Stars started their Calder Cup journey on April 19 against the Ontario Reign. After four games, they claimed the series in 3-1 fashion and advanced to the second round.
And now, it looks like they aren’t planning on stopping. Through four second round games so far, Texas owns a 3-1 series lead over the Tucson Roadrunners. The Roadrunners finished the regular season as the first seed in the Pacific Division while the Stars claimed the second seed.
