The Dallas Stars nominated Stephen Johns as their candidate for the 2019-20 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy. It’s an annual award given to the player that “exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey.”
There was no certainty that Stephen Johns would ever return to NHL action when he rejoined the Dallas Stars for practice on Nov.
