Dallas Stars News: Stars Reel In Multiple NHL Fan Choice Awards

The Dallas Stars have hit a relatively rotten patch of luck over the past few summers at the NHL Awards.

At the 2016 show, the Stars went 0-for-4 on their nominations when Jamie Benn fell short of winning both the Ted Lindsay Award and Hart Trophy, Jim Nill didn’t win GM of the Year, and Lindy Ruff missed out on the Jack Adams Award. In 2018, John Klingberg finished in the Top 10 in voting for the Norris Trophy, while Radek Faksa finished in the Top 10 in voting for the Selke Trophy.

And at the 2019 show on Wednesday night, Miro Heiskanen finished fourth in the Calder Trophy voting after a stellar rookie campaign with Dallas, while Ben Bishop fell short of winning the Vezina Trophy with a second place finish.
