Last night’s game between the Dallas Stars and Boston Bruins was not one for the weak of heart. When Curtis McKenzie’s visor is covered in blood and he skates off the ice covering his swollen eye, it can be hard to watch.
It can become especially difficult to watch when you know the backstory that the Stars are currently facing. After a 2-0 loss to the Bruins, the Stars dropped to 31-35-11 on the year with 73 points.
The season has been a nightmare up to this point. Dallas has seen a horrific downturn from one year ago and it seems as though they never got off on the right foot.
