Some newsworthy items came out of morning skate in Calgary.
Head coach Lindy Ruff made a few changes up front. Justin Dowling, an Albertan native, will play in front of his hometown tonight when the Stars take on the Calgary Flames.
Lines, such as they were, looked as follows. I wouldn’t put too much stock into these as Ruff is likely to hit the pulse button on his line blender from puck drop today in an effort to spark some improved play by his team.
Jamie Benn - Radek Faksa - Lauri Korpikoski
Antoine Roussel - Tyler Seguin - Patrick Eaves
Curtis McKenzie - Devin Shore - Brett Ritchie
Gemel Smith - Justin Dowling - Adam Cracknell
On defense, Esa Lindell (who had possibly his worst game in the loss versus Winnipeg two nights ago) and Patrik Nemeth will draw out and Jaime Oleksiak will draw in for the first time since October 20th.
