In less than two days, the Dallas Stars will begin their journey in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. That beginning will include studying up on their first opponent (which has yet to be decided), preparing to hit the road, and a focus on starting the first round on a positive note.
But the focus isn’t there just yet. That’s because two games still separate the Stars from the end of the 2018-19 regular season. And though they are against non-playoff teams, each one still serves as an important step in their path to the playoffs.
