It’s fun to get off on the right foot in a regular season. And on Thursday night, the Dallas Stars found a way to get off on the best foot possible.
The Stars welcomed in the Arizona Coyotes to the American Airlines Center to open their 2018-19 regular season. It was the first game of the year for both teams and provided a unique setup for Dallas.
After another offseason of significant change and adopting new philosophies and mindsets, the Stars braced for yet another new era. They had missed the playoffs in two consecutive seasons and were simply looking for something that would work.
