The Dallas Stars begin the next milestone on the road to the 2016-17 season this Friday, as the team’s youth meet in Northern Michigan for the Traverse City Prospect Tournament. The tournament runs September 16-20.
The Detroit Red Wings host the highly competitive shindig, which will also feature young talent from the Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks, Carolina Hurricanes, Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues. Texas Stars head coach Derek Laxdal, Texas assistant Karl Taylor and Idaho Steelheads head coach Neil Graham are the bench bosses for a Stars prospect group that includes Cedar Park pros Ludwig Byström, Remi Elie, Devin Shore and Cole Ully.
