It’s over. Not officially, but the Dallas Stars’ playoff aspirations are more or less done.
The Stars needed to win their last five games to have even the smallest chance at making the Stanley Cup playoffs. One devastating loss against the Minnesota Wild later, and the inevitable seems to have finally arrived.
