As the Dallas Stars begin the second half of their 2017-18 season with tonight’s game against the New Jersey Devils, they’re reaping the benefits of new coaches, new players, and a new system.
So says Stars studio host Josh Bogorad, who took a look at several key areas in his half-season progress report, posted yesterday:
As the season has moved along, the Stars have both lowered their goals against and improved their 5-on-5 play. Over the most recent segment, Dallas ranked fourth and eighth in the NHL. That cannot be overstated.
