The renaissance of Mattias Janmark was one of the Dallas Stars’ most enduring bright spots of the past year. After a diagnosis of osteochondritis dissecans canceled his 2016-2017 season, and very nearly his career, the sturdy Swedish forward played all but one game during the 2017-2018 campaign. He also scored 34 points, including four game-winning goals.
