Most Dallas Stars fans weren’t happy when the team signed long time villain Corey Perry to a one year contract last offseason. But by the time the season was said and done, many of those same fans had come around, thanks in large part due to Perry stepping up in big games in the postseason:
“I knew (Perry) was one of those guys we definitely needed in moments to win games in moments we needed an emotional uplifting,” Stars forward Andrew Cogliano said. “He brought exactly that. I thought his best hockey as a Star was in the playoffs.
