Dallas Stars Broadcast: New Duo Debuting Soon

On April 23rd, 2015, the Dallas Stars organization was hit with unexpected news.

Long time play-by-play announcer, Ralph Strangis, announced that he was leaving the Dallas Stars after a 25-year career. Strangis was with the franchise since 1990, starting with the Minnesota North Stars, before they moved to Dallas in 1993.

In 1996, when color commentator Daryl “Razor” Reaugh joined the Dallas Stars, the widely known “Ralph and Razor” partnership was created. and the Dallas Stars franchise would be changed forever, in a very great way.

Together, Ralph and Razor painted everlasting pictures in the heads of all Dallas Stars fans, even if they were watching the game on TV.
