As April quickly approaches an end and turns into May, the Stanley Cup Playoffs are in full swing. And once again, the Dallas Stars are not in the mix. Instead, they are at home, preparing for another offseason of change.
But they are also giving an extra bit of focus to the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. For the first time in NHL history, the draft will be hosted in Dallas on June 22-23, 2018. It will take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
For just the second time ever, 31 teams will converge at a singular location to select some of hockey’s brightest prospects.
