Dallas has already made a big splash in free agency, but Stars want more

The first day of NHL free agency gave Stars fans plenty to talk about, and yet it still left them wanting.

Sure, Dallas signed center Martin Hanzal and winger Tyler Pitlick and also made a ton of moves to help improve minor league depth. Yes, former Stars Patrick Sharp (Chicago), Antti Niemi (Pittsburgh) and Trevor Daley (Detroit) found new homes and will be fan favorites in new venues.

But while fans were hoping for a big splash in the form of talented Russian winger Alex Radulov, the opening day ended with no decision made from that camp.
