The Dallas Stars have signed Michigan captain Tony Calderone to an entry-level deal, and the forward has signed an amateur tryout with the Texas Stars. We should be available for the final three games of the season and the playoffs. Calderone's Wolverines just finished the Frozen Four with a semifinal loss to Notre Dame.

Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed right wing Tony Calderone to a two-year entry level contract. The rookie forward will join the AHL’s Texas Stars on an amateur tryout agreement for the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
