Annual 'Dad's Trip' might be coming at right time for Stars team that is struggling on the road

LAS VEGAS -- Not much has worked for the Stars on the road this season, so why not a little parental guidance?

Dallas is holding its annual "Dad's Trip," and it's a good one, with games Tuesday at Vegas and Thursday at Chicago. But it would be much better if the Stars found a way to break a four-game road winless streak and improve on a 3-8-1 record away from home.

"Let's hope it does," assistant coach Stu Barnes said when asked if the dads can bring good luck. "This is a tough trip and we're playing two very good hockey teams, so going on the road and having the dads there and being immersed in everything, that can be a good thing.
