Against Panthers, Miro Heiskanen will share the ice with a teammate from his junior hockey days in Finland

SUNRISE, Fla. -- Former teammates play against each other all the time in the NHL. It's part of the yearly shuffle around the league that moves players both willingly and unwillingly to new franchises. It's a common occurrence.

But when the Stars play the Panthers on Tuesday night in Florida, a pair of former teammates will meet and it will be a bit uncommon. Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen and Panthers forward Henrik Borgstru04e7m were once teammates ... before they were both first-round picks ... in Finland ... on the junior teams for HIFK as teenagers.

For Borgstru04e7m, 21, and Heiskanen, 19, it will be the first time they play against each other in the NHL.
