As Jason Dickinson attempts to make a case for an increased role in the Stars' lineup, he might have made his most compelling argument to date on Tuesday night in the Stars' 4-2 win over the L.A. Kings.
Despite coming into Tuesday's game with zero points in five games, Dickinson proved crucial in the Stars' much-needed scoring explosion, assisting Blake Comeau on the Stars' first goal before providing a screen on John Klingberg's goal that, 22 seconds after L.A. had pulled within one, put the Stars back up, 3-1.
Dickinson's fight for a spot in the lineup may become more difficult once Valeri Nichushkin and Alexander Radulov come back from injuries, but Tuesday night's performance was a good start.
