After Stars admit 'we were sloppy' Monday, fractured lineup faces this challenge tonight in Nashville

Well, the Stars didn't sugarcoat things Monday night.

An injury-riddled Dallas bunch rallied to tie the game late for the third time in a row, but then lost in overtime to the struggling Ottawa Senators, 3-2 at American Airlines Center. Afterward, there was a lot of regret.

"That was not a good game," said defenseman Marc Methot. "That was ugly, and we are lucky we got a point. I don't think we really deserved it."

The Stars have been beset by slow starts in recent games and were hoping to fix that problem. Although they scored first, they didn't take control against the 23-32-10 Senators.
