DALLAS — Although he’s yet to see his team fully intact this preseason, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban can already envision a squad capable of becoming one of the most lethal lineups in the NBA this upcoming season.
Due to injury concerns, Cuban has seen the Mavericks take the court shorthanded every game thus far this preseason, slipping to 0-5 in exhibition play after Monday night’s 103-97 loss in Cleveland. The Mavs have yet to get their first look at prized offseason signee Wesley Matthews in game action as he continues to work his way back from a torn left Achilles tendon that ended his 2014-15 season.
