'We just have to learn how to close out games:' Luka Doncic talks road woes as Mavs fall 120-116 to Warriors

OAKLAND, Calif. - As the losses continue to mount, the one good thing happening for the Mavericks is that Luka Doncic continues to win admirers.

And he's doing so in some of the NBA's marquee venues.

After ringing up a season-best 32 points at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday, the Mavericks' rookie introduced himself to Steph Curry and the Golden State Warrior fans on Saturday night by making his first three 3-pointers.

He put up 14 first-quarter points, including a wicked two-handed dunk in traffic after a nice pass from DeAndre Jordan.

At massive media markets like LA and the Bay Area, Doncic certainly knows how to make a first impression in the case of Saturday night.
