The Mavericks on Thursday announced that they have extended the contract of forward P.J. Washington.
Washington has become a key contributor for the Mavericks as well as a fan favorite for his no-nonsense style of play and his three-point shooting, which was a healthy 38.1 percent last season.
His “Standing On Business” pose in the 2024 playoffs became a galvanizing moment for the team that made it to the NBA Finals.
The team did not release details of the extension, but ESPN and other outlets reported that it was for four years and $90 million.
