The Tunisian Tower. Salah the Balla. Salahmi. Whatever you want to call Salah Mejri is fine by me, because he’s been the biggest surprise no one expected over the past week. A dude with bendy straws for legs has made me moist several times this week – And I’m not talking about Andrew Garfield. Salah Mejri has my heart… and it’s only taken him 62 minutes of playing time to do so.
As exciting as it is imitating Wesley Matthews’ bow and arrow, and putting up the three-monocle over my right eye after Chandler Parsons eventually makes a three, nothing’s gotten me jazzed up moreso than the play of Salah Mejri during his last three games (32 points, 21 rebounds, 6 blocks, 62 minutes).
