Mavericks forward Harrison Barnes has had a rough preseason shooting the ball, but better now than during the regular season. (Louis DeLuca/The Dallas Morning News)
Three takeaways from the Mavericks' 106-91 exhibition loss to Houston Wednesday at American Airlines Center.
1. Harrison Barnes is officially struggling. But better now than later. Nobody is reaching for a panic button. But it would be reassuring to see a few shots go down for the Mavericks' big-money offseason acquisition. He came into Wednesday shooting 26 percent in the preseason and missed his first four shots against the Rockets.
