Stephen Silas was there at the beginning with LeBron, Curry, Walker and Luka

Stephen Silas has had a front row seat to watch some of the NBA’s most prolific players during the early stages of their career.

Silas was an assistant coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003 when LeBron James was a rookie, an assistant coach with the Golden State Warriors in 2009 when Stephen Curry was a rookie, and an assistant coach with the Charlotte Hornets in 2011 when Kemba Walker was a rookie. And yes, Silas also was an assistant coach with the Dallas Mavericks in 2018 when Luka Doncic was a rookie.

Between those four players, they’ve combined to earn a whopping 30 All-Star berths.
