Sources: Parsons chooses max deal from Grizzlies

Forward Chandler Parsons has agreed to a four-year maximum contract with the Memphis Grizzlies worth a projected $94.8 million, league sources told ESPN.

Parsons committed to the Grizzlies immediately after a Friday meeting at agent Dan Fegan's home in Beverly Hills, California.

The 27-year-old Parsons also met with and received a max contract offer from the Portland Trail Blazers when free agency opened.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic also expressed interest in Parsons, who moved on after spending two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks when the team declined to offer him a max contract.
