If you believe Mavericks broadcasters Mark Followill and Chuck Cooperstein, longtime broadcaster Bob Ortegel has retired.
Ortegel sat in a Mavericks television analyst’s seat during game broadcasts from 1988 to 2011. He also had a role in Fox Sports Southwest studio shows during games over the past few years.
