NBA Free Agency 2017: Mavericks trade DeAndre Liggins to Rockets — who also just got some guy named Chris Paul

First reported by Adrian Wojnarowski at The Vertical, the LA Clippers have agreed to a trade with the Houston Rockets, sending Chris Paul to the Rockets in a blockbuster deal. The details still need to be ironed out to match money, but it is sure to cause a ripple in free agency that begins July 1st.

The Mavericks got involved in the action today as well:

For the Mavericks, it means dealing with an even more stacked opponent in their division. Guys like Dennis Smith Jr. and Yogi Ferrell will have a steep learning curve dealing with a James Harden-Chris Paul backcourt.
