I don’t like college basketball. It’s the worst representation of the most beautiful game in sport. Forty-second shot clocks, swinging the ball until someone gets the balls to chunk a three and the outright absurdity it takes to believe that this is some form of amateur competition with zero financial ramifications is too much of a hurdle for me to overcome. Despite my feelings, the majority of the best players in the world a forced to play at least one season in the college ranks thanks to the NBA’s decision to just dogpile on top of the absurdity that is a draft.
