Finalists will be announced during NBA All-Star Weekend on Feb. 18.
Then on Feb. 20, the University of Wisconsin will raise Finley’s No. 24 jersey into the rafters during a nationally-televised game on CBS. The Badgers are currently ranked No. 13 in the nation and have put together one of the best resumes in college hoops.
Dallas Mavs governor Mark Cuban said Finley is certainly deserving of the honor.
“Mike has been a friend and someone whose contributions to the Mavs, on and off the court, have been far more impactful than people realize,” Cuban shared.
