With two preseason games down and two to go, the Mavericks know exactly what they have to do with Luka Doncic as they creep toward the regular season.
They have to beat the Europe out of him.
We mean that in the most respectful way possible and strictly in basketball terms.
In his first NBA action, the 6-8 Doncic has impressed everybody with his creativity, his shooting and his wise-beyond-19-years way of playing the game.
Less impressive are the eight turnovers he's had in 60 minutes of court time.
Half of those turnovers have been traveling calls because Doncic is so used to the forgiving way European refs call (or don't call) traveling.
