The Dallas/Fort Worth area was still buzzing Tuesday – a day after the Dallas Mavericks shockingly won the NBA Draft Lottery and the rights to select Duke All-American forward Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick in next month’s NBA Draft.
It marked the first time the Mavs ever won the lottery, and some fans even turned to divine intervention to assist with the process. That includes Frisco’s Keith Fluellen, who will pick out his season ticket seats for the 2025-26 season at American Airlines Center on Thursday.
“I got a call from my pastor saying we need to pray on this to get Cooper Flagg,” Fluellen told Mavs.
