Mavericks' new president breaks silence with vow fans desperately needed

After losing to the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2025 Play-In Tournament, the Dallas Mavericks had a busy 2025 offseason. It all started when the Mavericks won the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery.

Winning the lottery allowed the Mavericks to draft Cooper Flagg with the first overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft at the end of last month. Drafting Flagg brought a new era and excitement throughout the city of Dallas. The work was then carried into free agency when the Mavericks signed D'Angelo Russell to a two-year contract.

Another new addition for the Mavericks came earlier this week, as they hired Ethan Casson to be the team's president.
