The Dallas Mavericks announced their local television schedule on Tuesday, and it looks like you’re going to need some sort of subscription service if you want to watch the Mavs (legally).
Fox Sports Southwest (FSSW) will broadcast 80 games this season, while TXA-21 has one broadcast (the last is a national TV only game). With 80 games on FSSW, that means if you want to watch the Mavs, you’ll need a cable, satellite or streaming service subscription.
That kind of stinks for those who are trying to cut the cord entirely, as the Mavericks used to have more games on TXA-21, the over-the-air station that anyone with a TV and an antenna could pick up.
