The good news is that whatever may have been broken with Kristaps Porzingis’ game appeared to be just fine Friday night.
The bad news?
Pretty much everything else.
Oh, there was nothing wrong with Luka Doncic, but the combination of him and Porzingis – as good as they were – couldn’t save the Mavericks from themselves against Porzingis’ old team, the New York Knicks.
Sloppy defense and a hot 3-point shooting night by New York doomed the Mavericks to a 106-102 loss and the home court continues to be a mystery for the Mavs.
