The Dallas Mavericks have been tossed out on the fringes as a potential suitor for Chicago Bulls guard Coby White for a few seasons now, but the rumors have seemingly never materialized into any serious reporting. This seems to be changing now, though, as Clutch Points reporter Brett Siegel reported the Mavericks have shown interest in White ahead of the February 5 trade deadline.
White's set to make $12.9 million this season on an expiring deal, so the Mavericks would likely only trade for White if they had some sense of security that he'd be willing to re-sign in Dallas in the offseason.
