Players decided not to play Wednesday’s playoff games due to the police violence against Black Americans in recent months, which was heightened due to the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Sunday. The players, the NBA and the NBAPA have been working to come to an agreement for what needs to happen for games to start back up, after it was hinted at that some players didn’t want the season to restart at all.
