JULY 31, 2020 (DALLAS, TX) – The Dallas Mavericks, Mavs Foundation and Chime, the leader in U.S. Challenger banking and the Mavericks’ official Jersey Patch sponsor, have launched Chime in for a Cause, a new initiative that will use the NBA relaunch to raise funds and awareness for eight local charities. As part of the Mavs’ and Chime’s on-going efforts to address social injustice, racial inequities and financial literacy, a $500 donation will be made to a local Mavs Foundation charity for each free throw the Mavs make during each seeding game night.
