Dallas fans have probably had the worst year in sports. With Luka Doncic and Micah Parsons getting traded within the same calendar year, this pretty much shows that not even the Doncic trade was the worst thing to happen to the city. Even though the city was blindsided by the Doncic trade, Nico Harrison should be lucky that Cooper Flagg fell into his lap.
The Doncic trade also shows how Mark Cuban was careless to leave the team in Harrison's hands. Sure, the Dallas Mavericks got back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2011, but this shows how careless Harrison was, which put fans pointing the finger at Cuban as well, even though he tried to stop the trade from happening.
