Last season, when the Dallas Mavericks traded Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis and Quentin Grimes for Caleb Martin, it was clear that their 3-point shooting would decline. Dallas was one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the NBA down the final stretch of the season, and with their dedication to running double-big lineups, they are going to need their role players to step up as shooters this next season, especially Klay Thompson.
On Friday morning, Thompson reminded the Mavs why they can't afford to trade him by any means, as he drilled 72 3-pointers in a row in a workout at the infamous Summit gym in New York City with NBA skills coach Chris Brickley.
