If you can name the Mavericks starter who has a .500 record when he's in the lineup at the jump ball this season, you clearly have had too much time off lately.
That would be Maxi Kleber, the rookie from Dirk Nowitzki's hometown of Wurzburg, Germany, who has started the past four games as the Mavericks have gone 2-2, including wins in two of the past three.
OK, it's a small claim to fame. But with a season that has started so horribly, the Mavericks need to grasp on to any morsel of positivity they can find.
