PORTLAND — The outpouring of feelings from his teammates validated even further how highly Chandler Parsons is thought of as a member of the Mavericks organization.
And, in the big picture, the surgery he'll need to clean up a meniscus tear in his right knee isn't going to change anything for him or the Mavericks when it comes to their long-term plans.
Both are in each other's corner. But there now are caution lights involved.
