LAS VEGAS – Cooper Flagg is the celestial body with the strongest gravitational pull at the NBA Summer League.
And the primary beneficiaries orbiting around Flagg are a couple of his Mavericks’ teammates.
Miles Kelly got loose for three three-pointers, then showed why his shooting ability is so valuable when he essentially was a decoy to get teammate Ryan Nembhard an open three-pointer for the winning points in Thursday’s summer-league opening 87-85 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Those two players, in particular, have seen the attention Flagg draws – and rightfully so, by the way – and have prospered from it.
