Luka Doncic sparkled for the Mavericks. Goran Dragic played even better for the Miami Heat, producing his second career triple-double.
And 2,000 Slovenian fans came to cheer countrymen Doncic and Dragic, remaining in Miami's American Airlines Arena long after the Heat's victory Thursday night, until Doncic and Dragic emerged from their respective locker rooms to return the fans' appreciation.
"A special night," Doncic called it.
"It was really wild," Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said. "Having Dragic and Doncic out there was like a feeding frenzy for them, which is great.
