THE STORY: The Dallas Mavericks and the Atlanta Hawks face off tonight in the battle of, essentially, who wants it least? Despite besting the Mavs on opening night, Atlanta has since fared not so well, winners of a mere seven games to Dallas’ nine. That should make for a winnable game tonight for the good guys, if winnable games are your jam.
It being the second night of a back to back, I’d look for Dirk to be resting or play minimal minutes, giving some of the younger guys more game experience.
