SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Limping out of the gates in their last two games while falling to back-to-back losses, the Dallas Mavericks know they must hit first Monday night on the road against the Utah Jazz.
Falling behind by as many as 22 Thursday night in Memphis, the Mavericks (1-6) would valiantly charge back before running out of steam late for a 96-91 defeat. The Mavs then hoped to turn their season around at home Saturday against the upstart Philadelphia 76ers. But after trailing by as many as 13 and suffering a 112-110 loss on their own floor, the Mavericks know they will have to come out more aggressively Monday in Salt Lake City, UT.
