The Mavericks are weighing their options as the trade-deadline shot clock ticks down to Thursday's 2 p.m. buzzer.
They know there is a market out there for Andrew Bogut, Deron Williams and perhaps others on their roster.
What they want to do in any deal is feather their draft-position bed and make sure they do right by those two proven veterans. Rest assured that this trade deadline is all about the June draft. If the Mavericks can add draft assets, they will.
If they can't, don't expect a lot of movement.
The Mavericks will reconvene for practice Wednesday afternoon and the main questions are whether Bogut and/or Williams will be there.
